CPSIA Compliance

FlashingBlinkyLights.com has been on the forefront of safety and compliance and all of our products meet CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) standards where applicable. The CPSIA is targeted toward products primarily intended for children 12 and under. Some of our products fall within this definition, but all of our products still meet these requirements.

Free of Toxic Materials

FBL maintains a close working relationship with several factories in China. We monitor production and make sure our products are high in quality and made from compliant materials. FBL also regularly screens its products and paints for phthalates, lead, cadmium and other heavy metals to be sure our products are meeting CPSIA standards. You can be assured that all of our products are free of lead, phthalates, cadmium and other toxic chemicals.

Toxic Free Inks

Most of our products are printed in our warehouse in Sun Valley, CA. The paint we use is CPSIA complaint and has been tested for lead, cadmium and other hazardous substances. We have test results for the paints we use in house as well as the paint we use at our factories in China. All paint used for printing on our products is lead and cadmium free and meets the CPSIA requirements.

Testing and Certification

FBL works with various accredited testing facilities to make sure all the materials we use are within the limits of CPSIA, ROHS and other common standards. If test results are required for specific products, we can work with our client to get the products tested right away. FBL issues GCCs – General Conformity Certificates – for all of its products upon requests. GCCs are a letter from us certifying that our products are made from compliant materials as specified under the CPSIA. The CPSIA requires suppliers to issue GCCs to their customers upon request for products that fall under the Act. To request a GCC please call us at 888.755.9449.
