Q: What are body lights?

A: Body Lights are small flashing LED strobe lights. Each piece contains small LED lights that flash back and forth creating an incredible strobe-like light. FBL always carries the latest styles of Body Lights, as well as numerous other craft, party, and novelty products.

Q: What is the minimum order?

A: There is a minimum order $9 before shipping, and for our price details, please refer to the price listing next to each product on their respective pages.

Q: On a minimum order, can I split the order and get an assortment of items?

A: No, customers are required to order the minimum for each individual products. The minimum for a product is its first listed quantity and price. If the first quantity is 12, then that is the minimum order for that product and you cannot mix products within that quantity.

Q: Can you turn the light up products on and off?

A: Yes, most of them can be turned on and off. Glow items cannot and liquid-activated items will have to be dried off to deactivate. Please refer to the product pages to see what can or cannot be switched on/off.

Q: Why doesn't FBL carry the magnetic backing to your blinky pins anymore?

A: The cost on magnets rose suddenly so we are switching to clips, safety pins and military clutch pins in an effort to keep your cost from rising. If you find you absolutely need an item with magnetic backing, do not hesitate to contact us, our custom division, and we will gladly work with you on that issue. In addition to rising costs, it isn't worth it for you to have a tiny magnet that you could easily lose, rendering your pin mostly useless. This way, with our awesome new attachments, everyone wins!

A: The size of each product is posted next to its large animated image within its product page in both inches and centimeters.

Q: How are the items packaged?

A: The packaging of each product varies and is normally done in a manner to keep the box size and weight to a minimum while still protecting the product during shipping.

Q: The item says it comes in packs of 6, so if I buy 1 pc., is that 1 pack of 6 items?

A: No, not at all. 1 piece means 1 piece, not 1 pack of 6 or 4 or 12, just 1 piece. A “pack” just means how they are manufactured, meaning if you bought 6 pieces, you would get 1 pack, or however many come in a pack. Also, ordering 1 piece from an Assorted Color item does not mean you will get 1 of each color, it means you will get 1 random piece from the assortment. For items that come in pairs, like gloves, normally 1 piece means one pair. Please check that specific product and read the description carefully.

Q: Since an item says it comes assorted, can I choose which colors I want?

A: Nope, because it wouldn’t be fair for someone else who wanted an even assortment of colors but receives a bunch of one color because too many people demanded one or two specific colors.

Q: Will you match your competitor's prices?

A: FBL checks competitor prices on a regular basis and we make sure our products are the lowest on comparable items. You may see some items that are cheaper than ours that look the same, don't be fooled. When you receive that item you will be disappointed, whether it be due to the low battery life of their product or lead, mercury, and dangerous materials. We use only commercial grade high quality lights that are compliant with CPSIA rules. Our threading is extremely smooth, our batteries are all fresh (and low mercury), and our lights are bright. You simply cannot compare apples to oranges. We may match the price on items that we know are exactly the same as ours. Please call us and check on specific items.

Q: Does FBL have a catalog?

A: Yes, Please click on the Catalog link to request a catalog. There is a $3 fee for a catalog alone. If you request a catalog with an order (via the Order Instructions page), then it is included free of charge. If you need your catalog immediately, please click on the link to the left of the catalog request form to download the PDF version and print it.

Q: What should I do if my product doesn't work or I am missing items?

A:  Any shortages or defects in the Merchandise must be reported by Customer to FBL within seven (7) days of receipt of the Merchandise. Before Merchandise is sent back as a return or an exchange the Customer must contact FBL and get a Return Authorization Number. To contact FBL regarding your return, please send us your inquiry.

Defective merchandise must be returned to FBL within 14 days of receipt of the order. If one or more pieces of the Merchandise are found to be defective, Customer shall have the right to send back only that portion of the Merchandise that is defective. If we receive the merchandise and find that it is not defective, we reserve the right to impose an additional restocking fee of 25%, or we will ship the merchandise back to Customer at the Customer's expense. Also, if a package is refused, the customer will be charged for the shipping charges back to FlashingBlinkyLights. Please make sure that all returns are sent back via an insured carrier. Make sure the package is insured for the value of the items you are shipping back. If the package is lost in route while being sent back to FBL, it is the Customer’s responsibility to handle the insurance claim with carrier. Once FBL has received the defective Merchandise from Customer, and has determined that the returned Merchandise is defective, FBL shall, at its sole discretion provide to Customer one of the following solutions: a) refund Customer for all returned defective Merchandise; b) replace the defective Merchandise with new Merchandise; or c) exchange the Merchandise for other FBL products.

Q: What is FlashingBlinkyLights' return policy?

A:  Flashingblinkylights accepts returns of unopened, unused merchandise within 30 days of the original purchase. FBL will not accept returns on used merchandise or merchandise with dead batteries. If merchandise return is received and is not in the original sellable condition, FBL will impose a restocking fee of 10% or will ship the product back to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Q: What payment methods does FBL accept?

A: FlashingBlinkyLights accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You can also pay with a company/organization check, or a Money Order, but the order will not ship until payment has been received. No personal checks allowed. PayPal is also accepted through FBL's website.

Q: Does FBL accept payment with a personal or company check?

Q: If I order today, when will my order get here?

A: Good question. To determine that, please refer to our Fed Ex Ground Service map for times to different parts of the United States. If you order before Noon PST, the order will ship same day.

Q: The Fed Ex Shipping Map says it will take 3 business days Ground to get my order, does that count starting the day I place my order?

A: No, all shipping times start the day after your order has shipped (i.e. 3 days FROM your order shipping).

Q: When will FBL ship my order?

A: Online orders received by 12:00 pm PST are sent out the same business day on all in stock items. Phone orders received by 2:00 pm PST are also generally sent out the same day on all in stock items. Most of our items are in stock at all times. Please note Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days.  Orders placed on those days will ship the following business day. We also offer other shipping methods to accommodate your tight schedule. Q: How long does it take to receive an international order?

A: FedEx Ground:* FedEx Ground delivery time frames differ from location to location. Give us a call at 888.755.9449 and our friendly staff will be more than happy to assist you.

FedEx Econmony: Typically takes 2-5 Business Days.**
Mexico and Canada orders typically take 2-3 Business Days.**

FedEx Priority: Takes 1, 2, or 3 Business Days.**

* Available in Canada only.

** Because they are international, these time frames do not include customs' inspection of your package which could delay your shipment significantly. Customs does not delay packages very often, but it is possible that your package may be delayed. FlashingBlinkyLights is not responsible for any delay caused by the inspection procedure. Q: Is there an import tax involved in my international order?

A: All international orders excluding those shipped to Canada have a Value Added Tax (VAT) that is added to the total cost of your order including shipping. All orders shipped to Canada via FedEx will be charged a Goods and Service Tax (GST) of 5-15% (depending on the Province) of the total cost of the order including shipping. These taxes will be charged upfront for all FedEx shipments and FlashingBlinkyLights will handle customs responsibilities on your behalf. If you choose to use UPS Standard for your Canadian order, UPS will bill the tax to the customer on a later date. Unfortunately, we are unable to determine the amount UPS may charge. Q: How do I get better pricing from

A: FBL regularly checks the competition to make sure our prices are low. Don’t be fooled by competitors offering lower prices. Rest assured the Flashing Blinky Lights has priced the item as low as possible without compromising the quality of the item or by using sub-par and usually toxic materials. FBL makes sure our items pass CPSIA regulations and guarantee that they will work. On large purchases, over $1000, please contact one of our salespeople to make sure you are getting the best price possible.

Q: Why do certain flashing blinky lights cost more than others?

A: The price is based on the number of LED lights, and the color of the lights. Certain colors are more expensive to manufacture than others. For example: red, yellow, green and orange are inexpensive while blue, jade, purple, pink and white are more expensive. Also, price is based on what kind of item. For example, swords are clearly more expensive than body lights and serving trays are obviously more expensive than either, just due to what they are made of, size, and other factors.

Q: Where can I sell flashing blinky lights?

A: These body lights sell extremely well at nighttime or indoors at raves, fairs, carnivals, swap meets, parties, clubs, concerts, discos and street fairs. Body Lights are extremely bright and can be seen from very far away. These lights spark up the party and are sure to bring a smile to everyone's face. Swords and barware are also huge hits, as well as the spirit wear. But honestly, if it lights up, they will come.

Q: What is a good retail price for the flashing blinky lights?

A: The best way to maximize revenue is to give some kind of a discount if the customer buys more than one. For example, you can sell 1 body light for $6 and 2 for $10. Most customers will hand you a ten-dollar bill and get two. Some people sell them for up to $8 each and some sell them cheap – 1 for $3 and 2 for $5. At any of these prices, there is good profit to be made. For larger/more expensive items increase prices accordingly.

Q: What type of batteries do flashing blinky lights take and are they replaceable?

A: Almost all of our items have replaceable batteries. All battery information is posted on each respective product page. Batteries generally last 2-20 hours depending on the product. Not all items have replaceable batteries, please refer to the product page for that information.

Q: Where can I get extra batteries?

A: FBL sells extra batteries for 20 cents each for almost all of our products.

Q: My product won’t seem to turn on, why is that?

A: Be sure, upon delivery, the batteries are in tact and in place. For an item such as our ice cubes, feel free to bang the cube against the edge of a desk, that should jostle the batteries back into place for you. If that does not work, please ensure you removed the pull tab from the battery area, a lot of people forget to do that. If that does not work, please give us a call at 888.755.9449 and we can further assist you.

Q: How can I ensure my products will last as long as possible?

A: To optimize full battery life, be sure to turn off your items when you are not using them, such as turning off any light-up furniture overnight or your martini glass when you’re not eating or drinking. Also, if your item (such as the multicolor cheer sticks) have a flashing setting, flashing typically saves battery life, versus using the steady light.

Q: How do I get started on a logo’d product?

A: Send us your 300 DPI artwork as an AI file or other Vector file. Please include your in-hands deadline. We will then view the artwork and send back a quote within 24 hours.

Q: What is the minimum order for a custom piece?

Q: How long is production time on a custom Logo-Lites order?
