Good people of Burning Man, are you ready for the best year yet?! In the name of peace, love & LED lights, let’s get ready to rumble.

What IS Burning Man, some may ask? Long story short, it’s kiiiind of like an annual circus for adults, put on by the audience themselves. It’s all about leaving behind the stuffy cubicles, taking off the suits & ties, saying goodbye to suburbia & city life for a week, and road tripping to the Nevada desert for an out-of-this-world experience. The Burn is all about sharing & caring with intensely creative, like-minded individuals. Cheers to THAT!

What is Burning Man?

The Burning Man Festival has taken the alternative world by storm for many years now & is described by its regular participants as “an experiment in community art, radical self expression & radical self reliance.” It’s the perfect environment for free spirits to meet up to celebrate, to live off the land & respect the land by leaving no trace once it’s time to go home, and most important, to create LIGHT UP good times with new friends & family.

Burners travel from all over the world to put their LED lights to use, be it light art, light crafts, all KINDS of light creations. Do yourself a favor & Google Image the words “Burning Man Lights” – it’s truly magical. Burners are incredibly imaginative people who inspire us to no end, incorporating light into their clothes, lights in their hair, lights from head to toe, lights on their bikes, lights on their cars, lights all over their campsites, I could go on… Take Tony Zorich for instance. He’s our long-time loyal customer here at FBL, and we are honored to supply him with LEDs year after year:

How cool, right? He created this trippy light effect by sewing our Blue Blinking LEDs for Arts & Crafts into a full body suit, which he looks to have made DIY style with regular ol’ pants, jacket, gloves & a knitted full face mask. Elaborate light crafts like this can also be done with our Rainbow Slow Color Change version, which creates a creeping crawling light effect, totally mesmerizing & oh so dreamy. Kudos to Tony. Ya make us proud, sir!
