In loving memory of Jean.
Jean had been working downstairs in the office with Noel for just over a year. She was handling all our 4imprint orders and also helped cover for the rest of the AP team and assisted Moi and Arely with returns. She was always such a pleasant person to be around and someone you could always count on to do a great job. She always showed up to work on time which is why we were extremely worried yesterday when she didn’t show up unannounced. Then yesterday afternoon around 4 we got the terrible news from her father and boyfriend that she had been involved in a fatal car accident late Wednesday night.
She will be missed among her colleagues and friends here at the office. It’s unfair that this happened to her and she left us way too early. She always had a beautiful smile and a positive vibe and was such a pleasure to have around. I remember getting her resume in May of 2021 when it was really hard to find anyone good and I told Donna, I think we found us a superstar. I wasn’t wrong!
I noticed she had the same last name as my mother “Tapia”. I joked with her that we are cousins, and after that we referred to each other as “Cuz”. I knew I had a friend in her that went beyond just cool coworkers.
Jean was always so easy to talk to and just vibe with.
She was always smiling and had a very chill style to her. I will always miss Jean.
Although we didn't work in the same department, we got to bond during the moments we shared together and I will never forget her adorable laugh and quick wit.
She was beautiful, kind, creative, and always willing to be a part of the team.
I will miss you dearly, my friend.
