FlashingBlinkyLights started selling round led earrings at fairs and other events in 2001. A one page website was launched in 2002 and orders were filled in a garage that was converted into an office and warehouse space. FlashingBlinkyLights started in October 2001 almost by chance. Chris Camarella and Laura Volkan were in Las Vegas at a tradeshow promoting their start up, Alectra Lingerie.
